I'd don't know if anyone has seen this yet, or how true it is. But figured I'd post just in case someone has these trailer.

I saw that earlier somewhere also. Yes, it covered 2019-2021 Outback 335CG and 340BH.

I believe you can do that as a member:

Edit post, go advanced and edit title.

We have a 2020 Outback 340BH. It was in the shop for many other issues that all seem related to a bent frame when the recall went out. Now that they are looking at the frame, they are having to order all sorts of different parts. Currently, they are replacing the basement rails. Is anyone else having this issue? I'd love to hear your thoughts and experience. I believe ours was defective at delivery, we just didn't have the experience to know it at the time.

Our 2020 340 BH is having the recall completed on 10Feb. Visual inspection does reveal a slight waviness in the affected frame area, but it doesn’t appear to be significant. Has your recall been completed yet?

My recall has been completed. Will be picking it up soon. It was already in the shop for other work when the recall was released so I actually didn't have any visual of the affected area.

Krg2383,
I would be very interested in hearing the details of your recall experience, any pictures of the repaired area would be be very helpful if you have them. I’ll post pictures of my frame as well once the work has been completed.

Thanks

I would make sure that area is protected from rust... the bolts could even rust ..I’m surprised they didn’t spray with rust oleum or undercoating at the affected area.

Good idea. I was thinking that about those bolts too. Maybe they are galvanized. I want to hit it with rust-oleum, but I don’t want a different finish in that area standing out like a sore thumb.

I'm picking it up friday. We had some storms up this way every week for the last month so I waited it out.
