Auto leveling Question

Hello all,
We have a 2019 Keystone Cougar 26RKS which came with the Lippert auto leveling system. We really like it (makes things much easier) however, there have been a few times when after it was done leveling, one side of the trailer had it’s wheels off the ground. Ive been told by some, including someone from Keystone that this is not a problem. I’m worried that I may be putting to much strain on the system/legs. Any thoughts and suggestions on this is greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Milo

Where we are currently parked, our left side tires are off the ground by about three inches. I just made some blocks to put under the jacks on that side to shorten up how far the rams are extended to reduce the movement. Of course, these are hydraulic jacks, but if your system can lift the rig without any strain, you are probably good. What if the tires were still touching the ground, but just barely? You would still have as much weight on the jacks. The Lippert jack systems seem to be well engineered and very capable to support these rigs.

Your fine. We do it all the time to service the axles. We have left it that way for days while waiting for parts.

Agreed. When I work on the tires or repack the wheel bearings I just use the leveling system to raise the tires off the ground.

Did 3 years of 3 months each time with drivers side wheels of the ground in RV park we where in. During that time Lippert had 2 different service people out to repair part of the leveling system and have not had any problems and both said no problem. We still do that park for the winter but different site.
