City Water Connection - Flimsy/Cracking

Anyone have any ideas on replacing the plastic city water connection surround? Thsi is the white plastic reccessed box that contains the city water connection and the fresh water tank opening (to fill the tank). Seems like there is no support when I have the fresh water hose hooked up.

Any tricks or mods would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

The only thing I have found that helps is 90° elbow hose connection that takes the strain off from the weight of the hose. you can get them at CW or Wally World.

The 90 degree attachment does help to take the strain off of the inlet and seems to be working OK. Before I put it on, The weight of the water hose kept pulling itself out of the threads and it spewed water everywhere. Real PITA. It's really sad. For a couple of bucks more, KS could have put some quality hardware in these trailers

I was told the hoses are connected to the back of the fittings with standard hose clamps, so when(if) we ever get back to cooler weather, one of my projects will be to replace the city connection and water fill with good components and mount them on a piece of Starboard like I did the power inlet.
