Hornet U shaped table

How do you get the table to be level and stay together? My table is a single pole with the base bolted into the floor. As soon as you put any weight on the table it loosens on the post. I feel it may be easier to replace the table with a stand alone and store the old one if we need the u shape to be made into a bed.

Mine does pretty good for the 4 of us but I have 2 poles. Maybe you could get another pole and kind of recenter them.
I always wonder on the stands, but a buddy has one and says it flips over while traveling.
I thought they would be good:
possible coffee table
move the table to one side or the other
take it our entirely
take it outside if you wanted too

Just thinking

Yes this is a terrible design. One of our brackets has already pulled out of the floor. I will begin brainstorming on a better attachment this weekend while we wait for the rain to stop.
