Exclamation Keystone Outback Kargaroo 280RS

Hello! We are looking at the Keystone Outback Kargaroo 280RS - in fact ours is to come off the assembly line Friday, Aug. 20th, with delivery by the end of the month.
Anyone out there have a 280RS? Any particular problems we should be looking for?

Since we are brand new to RVing, does anyone have an extensive check-off list we should take to the dealer to go over our new RV front to back for possible problems? Any help would be appreciated.

We will be pulling with a Toyota Tundra - any helpful hints re: stabilizers & breaking systems?

Welcome to the forum and congratulations on your new purchase. There are several Outback owners on the forum and hopefully they will be able to provide you with some feedback.
In regards to your inquiry about a pre-delivery inspection checklist, you should go to Flyguy's website and download the PDI from his homepage. Flyguy is one of our moderators. If you need help accessing this PDI, please ask.
In regards to your other questions about stabilizers and braking systems, you should post your questions in one of the sections designated for that ---"Towing and Tow Vehicles". (We try to keep this New Member Check In for just that purpose --- to introduce yourself and for members to welcome you).

How exciting! How long did it take to get yours once you ordered? We ordered a new Cougar a couple weeks ago and I'm so excited. The waiting is killing me. ;>

Hello to VJM1639

We have been looking at the toyhaulers for about a year. We found no pull behind model other than the Keystone Outback Kargaroo that we liked better.
We finally decided to go for it and called our local dealer. He did not have the interior that we wanted but had another interior style going to one of their other lots. We looked at another model with the same interior and loved it. So we asked our dealer to reroute it to us. Now when it comes we will have to go thru it with a detailed PDI and hopefully it will be the one.
So, that is the rest of the story.
