The 2009 Springdale line did not have any 50 amp power systems. All were 30 amp power centers, so going with a 50 amp setup would be "overkill" and "over-priced" for what you need. Essentially, for a 100' run, depending on the outlet that you're plugging the extension cord into, if that outlet is 30 amps 120 VAC (DO NOT CONNECT TO A 240 DRYER OUTLET WHICH LOOKS THE SAME BUT WILL BURN UP YOUR TRAILER POWER SYSTEM) then a 3 wire 8 ga system would be all you'd need. The 50 amp "setups" are all 240 VAC and you don't need that for a 30 amp trailer. The only 50 amp service was on the 372/373 model and that was a part of the optional washer/dryer package.
I feel fairly confident that the 2009 Springdale you're considering is a 30 amp trailer.
