Plates, cutlery, canned goods, cleaning supplies, clothing etc is always left in the trailer.
I take my time and just pack the fridge and freezer and make sure that everything is in top working order a few days before I leave. I really hate doing the 1 hr rush thing as I know that I'll forget something like the bacon. There's no point in going camping if you don't have plenty of Canadian back bacon.
I hook up the day before, double check everything and that's when I kick back, have a drink and pack the booze into a box with bubblewrap and that's loaded that night.
The day that I leave I just grab my dog, set the GPS and I'm gone. No frazzled nerves thinking about things that I might have forgotten.
