I have looked at the floorplans of both the Laredo 291TG and the 303TG and these trailers look like a higher end Keystone product, very nice looking trailer. Forest River puts out a similar unit in the Flagstaff 831QBSS, 831BHSS, Rockwood 8317SS, and 8318SS, you might want to also consider these units. Brand is not the issue here, the best bang for the buck is.

How is the Outside Kitchen working for you? That is the biggest feature that is leaning us toward the TG series.

We just camped for the 3day weekend, it was great. We use the outside kitchen for most of our cooking if we do not use the campfire. The only complaint on that so far was the outside small fridge kept popping open during traveling. So a buddy suggested the child lock for fridges. I installed it and so far it did not pop open on the way home.

That sounds awesome. My only concern is tow vehicle. Do you happen to know what your out the door ready to camp tongue weight is on your 303TG? Post some pics if you get a chance? Any other concern or mods you are thinking about?

I dont know what my true tongue what is? From manufacture i believe 600 lbs. Not this weekend but next i can post some pics and take some measurements on how far my rear drops. Just remember mine is a 1 ton w/overload springs. I'm working on airbags to help the situation. My guess would be 4".

Here's the specs on the 303TG:
Dry Weight 7325lbs (3323 kg)
GVWR 9000lbs (4082 kg)
Cargo Capacity 1675lbs (760 kg)
Hitch Weight 695lbs (315 kg)
Axle Weight 6630lbs (3007 kg)
Exterior Length 35.42' (10.79 m)
Exterior Width 8.00' (2.44 m)
These come from RV Wholesalers website. If a 1 ton dually won't pull it, get an 18 wheeler tractor.

I'm looking at this same model. This would be my first RV.....
I have a 08 Nissan Titan Pro4x with towing package. I should be fine right?
9300 lbs is max towing...with a payload of 2016lbs...
2 adults 325lbs
1 child 40 lbs
another 300 lbs of junk
GVWR 9000 lbs...I think thats fully loaded water and all???Right.. The nissan is a brute and I know the engine won't have any problems...
I'm deployed to Iraq and can't look at the sticker for max weight. Any help would be awesome.

Own a 2011 291 TG
We have had our 291 Tg for two months now and still have the problem with the outside kitchen door.
The supports on our 2011 were too heavy and popped right off the foamcore door the first time we used the trailer. We have been told by our dealer that keystone is well aware of the problem and will send us a new door and supports to fix it. (still waiting) We have encountered several other owners with the same problem as ours. Either the supports are too light on the 2010 or too heavy on the 2011. Either way, be very cautious, it will come lose and pop off.
Before purchasing this our second keystone, we did look at the rockwood 8317SS, but finally decided on the layout of the kids room in the keystone to be slightly more to our liking because we can fit a 19" flat panel tv for our kids above the wardrobe, which is not possible in the rockwood. Not to mention that neither trailer were easy to find
We pull with a 2010 ram 1500 with a Hemi, and I would not really want to try to pull the overall length and weight of the 303TG with a 1/2 ton. Another reason we went with the 291. Just dont feel comfortable taking our towing capacity to its highest level of 10,000.
Hope some of this helped

Towing...
I see you pull your 303TG with a Dodge. We have a F-150 Crew Cab 5.4L 3.55axle. We keep getting mixed info. that we would be fine where others tell us no. So now we are mixed between the 303TG and Bullet Premier 31BHPR. I am looking to see if anyone has pulled the Laredo with this truck or equal to it? THANKS!

HI I ordered the 303tg back in September at the PA show it came in with the new front in December we have not picked it up yet but we are going to be picking her up in late April I will be towing it with a 2010 dodge ram 1500 that can tow 9750 lbs i think I will be fine for now but I have added the Firestone coil rite airbags and the work rite load assist just to give a little extra support in the rear. Can't wait to the weather gets nice and I get it and go camping.

We pick our 303 TG up next Saturday. Traded in a 2010 Jayco 17z that we were towing with an '07 Toyota Sienna (minivan). Did fine through the season however wasn't 100% comfortable. Traded the van in for an '08 Tundra Double Cab 5.7l V8 4x4 w/ tow package. Towing Capacity os 10,300. Can't wait to get on the road now.

Brought home the 2011 303TG (2nd Gen w/ the front propane cover) today with the Tundra, towed great. It appeared they fixed the kitchen door issue with new brackets and mounting.

I spent the day after I brought it home going through it and even sliding around under it to get familiar with everything. The only thing I noticed that I will take care of is that the 2 low point drains on the door side had a poor seal around them. With the enclosed underbelly I didn't want to have to deal with a critter getting up in there. Otherwise it looked and opperated great.

I have not recieved my 2011 291TG yet, but in this forum somewhere I read to check the underside vertical wall by the wheel well of the slide to ensure it is sealed up. I assume if it is not, the plywood will swell and rot...
