How to turn off residential style refrigerator in Alpine 3651RL

I just purchased a 2020 Alpine 3651RL. It has a residential style Samsung refrigerator in it. I was told in order to turn off the refrigerator I need to turn off the inverter. The inverter is a WF-5110R True Sine Wave Inverter. Will someone please explain to me how to turn the fridge off with inverter?

Here is a Link to the owners manual.
http://wfcoelectronics.com/wp-conten...Manual_web.pdf

There is an on/off button on the inverter and, it is often equiped with a remote on/off switch (as per the manual).
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
"..Remote Switch Panel
The WF-5110R Inverter has a remote switch panel that provides status information and ON/
OFF control of the unit from a remote location.
The WF-5110R Inverter remote replaces the ON/OFF Power Pushbutton located on the front
panel of the main unit. It can be mounted up to 20’ away using the supplied cable. In addition
to the centrally located pushbutton, the remote panel features a Green power status LED.
NOTE: the ON/OFF power switch on the inverter’s front panel must be in the OFF or OUT
position for the remote switch to function. "

You don't have to do it that way. The Samsung Fridge has a power off feature.

Hold the "freezer" button and the "power freeze" button at the same time until you hear a chime. The freezer is now off and in demo mode. The lights will still come on if you open the door but the compressor won't run and it will not cool.

To turn it back on, hold the same 2 buttons.

The OP asked "..Will someone please explain to me how to turn the fridge off with inverter? .."
I answered that question.

If OP had asked for optional ways, I would have given an answer similar to yours.

Devil is in the details..

Something to consider:

If you use the "refrigerator control panel" to put the refrigerator in "demo mode" the inverter will still be providing power (provided by the battery) so it becomes an additional "parasitic drain" that would discharge/damage the batteries in storage even faster than normal.

So, while it's "optional" to turn off the refrigerator at the control panel, the inverter also needs to be turned off as well (if the refrigerator is not going to be used and the trailer will be in storage)

I found that the 2020 1/2 model it makes no difference if I turn the inverter off or leave it on the fridge still is on and cooling. By the thread saying I can turn it off on the fridge itself I know I still need to switch the the inverter off. I went to my control panel inside the coach and flipped the breaker for the fridge off. I turned both the fridge and inverter both. Thank you both for your input. It is great to have a place to go and ask questions.

Are you doing those things while the RV is plugged into shore power or not? If not on shore power and my inverter is turned off I have no power to the fridge. Does yours not work that way?

It is plugged in to shore power because I have it at my home outfitting it. I want the AC on, but not the fridge. So you are saying if it is not plugged in and I turn the inverter off the fridge will stay off? If so that makes sense. I understand when it is plugged in to shore power, even if the inverter is turned of, the fridge stays on. So if I unplugged from shore power, turned the breaker back on and switched the inverter off the fridge would be off?

Regardless of where you are, if the fridge breaker is off and the inverter is off the fridge is off. If the light in the fridge still comes on then one of the two is not actually turned off. There is no other way.

In our rig, our Samsung refrigerator is powered through shore power or the inverter through a transfer switch. If both shore power is available and the inverter is turned on, the transfer switch selects shore power and the refrigerator runs. When shore power is not available but the inverter is turned on, the transfer switch selects the inverter and the refrigerator runs. When I am parked at home, I hook up limited amperage shore power to keep the batteries on floating charge, turn off the 120V refrigerator circuit breaker and turn off the inverter. And then I block the refrigerator doors open to prevent mold/mildew formation.
