Scenic motorcycle rides Oklahoma

I’m planning a trip to Oklahoma middle of July going to Arkansas. I haven’t made a route but trying to stay south of Oklahoma City. I’m looking for Mountain scenic, twisting roads in Oklahoma. I have research the Wichita Lake area Southern Oklahoma.

Nicest road coming across Okie-Arkie border is the Talamena Parkway.
http://www.talimenascenicdrive.com/
The Queen Talamena hotel on the Arkie side is a neat place to stay.

There is a great Italian Restaurant in Talahina Ok. and a neat tourist stop at the Heavener Runestone attraction nearby; Viking Runestones?
https://discover.hubpages.com/travel/VikingsinOklahoma

All the roads in western Arkie in the Ouchita Forest area are great riding and same for the Okie side (eastern).

What George ^^^^said. The Queen Wilhelmina story in itself is very interesting and there is some great riding in the area!

On edit: "Winston Churchill once said of the Queen, “I fear no man in the world but Queen Wilhelmina.”

Last time on that road on a Kaw Nomad, I had a rear flat on that Byway. Lucky I had filled the rear tire with some goop to keep it from going totally flat and limped into Mena where the gal mechanic cussed me out royally because of the tire goop (messy) but the tire got changed. That is not a road you want to break down on.

I’ll be 260 miles Northwest of Telimena from Big nose state park. The good thing is I’ll be 105 miles north to the Ozark COE park . I be going South to COE Mellwood lake 130 miles west of Telimena scenic loop. I almost text Nautilis Jim about scenic route in Oklahoma. I’ll throw it into a bucket list . There again I may have to motel it and make the ride to the Scenic Telimena .

Eureka Springs Arkansas is 70 miles north of my camp. I’m winding down my week but there are 2 other Coe camps waiting for me in Arkansas . I hope with a brake in brutal heat and humidity according to my weather app. The riding has been good if i keep roiling some of roads are the most challenging with hair pins turns straight up in first gear. The advertising riding the Ozarks will never know until the rider gets his bike on the well maintained winding roads .

Been a while since we were there but used to go fairly often. We loved the place and the atmosphere but have heard some are put off by it. Of course we always loved cooking over an open fire and eating what came off/out of it....some don't like that. Off the beaten path but worth the visit IMO.
