Missing sofa

Hello from Missouri,
We are to take delivery of a 2018 Montana 3701LK a week from today. The previous owner had removed one of the opposing sofas and replaced it with a desk and chair. We were wondering how hard it would be to find a matching sofa. Here is a link to our RV. https://rv.campingworld.com/rvdetail...50k-CMO1920775. It's dark brown Thomas Payne edition.

Thomas Payne furniture is available at Camping World, almost every "mom and pop RV dealership, from Amazon, many (maybe most) internet RV parts houses such as Trekwood.com, eTrailer.com, rvfurniturecenter.com, or hundreds more "online sources".

The Camping World where you're buying the trailer has the entire collection available in their parts catalog. If you haven't yet completed the negotiations, you might talk to the sales manager (not salesman) about them ordering the sofa and selling it to you at "their cost" rather than at retail pricing....

Welcome to the forum

Thomas Payne furniture is made by Lippert Components and the majority of owners think the "pleather" isnt a long lasting cover. lippert may still have something that would work in stock, But you might do better shopping at a regular furniture store.

I agree with Chuckster!
You'll pay a premium for the cheapo rv furniture when you could probably buy as good or better quality at a furniture store for much less $$$.

You can order on line from Thomas pane or from camping world. You can also measure the space and go to a local furniture store and find something that will fit and be a better quality. I just replaced our theater seating recliners with two new power recliners I purchased from Ashley furniture. Much more comfortable and easier to use.

I have a two recliner Thomas Payne unit that fit into that same space. Lots more comfortable.

You'll probably find that buying a Thomas Payne POS from an RV dealer will cost the same as replacing BOTH from a furniture store.

I was in the furniture business for over 40 years. The cheapest furniture I sold is better than any RV specific furniture I've seen. Take your measurements and go to a furniture store. Measure your RV door width so you know what size will fit. Many recliners and reclining sofas/loveseats have detachable backs.

Yep. My 2014 Cougar started “shedding” this winter.
