Slide out motor leaking oil.

Okay guys so I installed the drip pan under the motor for the slide and repaired the two spots where the roof membrane was damaged.
The question I have is what happens when the motor is out of oil as they seem to leak quite a bit.
Chuckster57 is it possible that the oil will eventually get low enough to damage any bearings or gears in the motor. And if so can you add oil to the motor? Ours had two spots where the damage was, one was right under the motor and the other one was under the motor when the slide was extended. My repair should be permanent but I'm wondering what happens when their is no oil in the motor. Thanks for any help from you guys.

How did you repair the roof? How has it held up?
