Manufactured (https://youtu.be/V9rEQb05Qv4 ) definitely has some advantages, smooth air flow and increased intake plenum, but at $200 I'll try my version for a while.
It would be nice to Have rv air flow on the table to go get dimensions needed. That would be very tedious job in and out of the camper all day long . I chose to pay the $170 for the high Density material precision fit 10 minutes later I’m satisfied.

Replaced original wheel bearings and races with a new set of Timkens, hand-packed the bearings, inspected the brakes, and greased the wet bolts on the suspension.

Curious what did you use for a handle?

Had an appointment with Discount Tire on Saturday to finally replace the 4 old Karrier Load Star tires with Carlisle Trail Radial HD. They ride so much smoother than the old ones. They are load range C like OEM, but what I am confused about is they say 50 PSI max on the tires. I would have figured they would be 65 PSI. They are also speed rated at 81 MPH but never plan to go that fast.

Is the 50 PSI correct on these tires? 205/75R/14 - C?

Load Range C ( 6 ply) tires carry a pressure rating of 50 PSI when COLD.
Load Range D ( 8 ply) tires carry a pressure rating of 65 PSI when COLD.
Load Range E (10 ply) tires carry a pressure rating of 80 PSI when COLD.

Here's the Carlisle Radial Trail HD webpage with all the specifications for each of their RT HD tire sizes: https://www.carlislebrandtires.com/o...dial-trail-hd/

Remember, COLD (when discussing tire pressure) means "before towing, before significant solar heating (sitting in the sun until late morning, etc)"...

Also, NEVER let air out of a "hot tire" to stabilize or meet "cold pressure" settings.... EVERY tire manufacturer's engineering department is aware that pressure goes up as the tire gets hot and they build tires to withstand the pressure increase from COLD pressure settings. There is no need to be worried about the pressure increase above 50 PSI in your tires after you tow, in the sun, on a 100F day. If you check tire pressure at a rest stop in the hot afternoon, the pressure will be "significantly greater than 50 PSI". That is "normal and expected"...

Finally put an inline/weatherproof toggle switch to the tpms relay power. Save on that energy being trickled away.

Installed fans in the bunk area for the kids, hopefully it’ll help pull the air from the a/c down into the bunks. Also relocated the fire extinguisher to the other side of the door, now it’ll be out of the way but easy to get to.

I put one of those reflective shades on the skylight in the shower. When I removed it a year or so later the inside skylight had cracks on the corners due to the heat build up and age of the plastic (2006 unit). Bought the new skylight piece and taped window tint film over it before installing it. Hopefully the heat will have enough space up there to not cause a problem.

I replaced the awning fabric on my Bullet today. I got a Shade Pro fabric from Amazon for $129 shipped to the house. I had two helpers and 3 ladders. Took just under an hour with the camper parked in the street out in front of my house. Only two kids going home from the pool walked under us working on the ladders

The YouTube video on the Lippert web site was very helpful. We did the replacement a little different but basically the same sequence. I planned to replace the fabric when I bought the camper back in March. They told me I could not do it myself. This was a huge upgrade for our camper.

Neither could I when I did it. You need two helpers and three ladders.

Got around to installing a battery cutoff switch on the battery. Eliminate those parasitic drains when it's not actively in use.

Installed the home made version of the RV air flow on Saturday, took 40 minutes. Works awesome. Didn't measure cfm's before or after, just used my hand. Cost $18 CAN , savings of $203 CAN, effort - Easy mode, satisfaction - Priceless
Little purple styrofoam balls everywhere - Pain in the tuckus

I added a pair of USB charging ports on each side of the bed area I the small panel at the base of the side closets.
I also added a pair in the area under the tv, on the living area side. Also has a voltmeter built in.
While I was at it I installed a small inverter on that shelf. Then I watched a movie while running everything on just the battery power.
So, since I had 3 100 W solar panels (from a previous project) I made up a couple of cables with MC4 connectors to hook them together and connect to the charge controller. While running a two USB powered fan, one 12vdc oscillating fan, the DVD player, the tv, the panels were still producing enough to charge the batteries.

Am debating this mod too. Sounds like it is worth it though.
