adding 12 volt outlet

There is a 12 volt outlet in the bedroom of our Cougar 333MKS but I would like to add one in the living room area at the rear of the fifth wheel. This is for use when we are not at a site with electricity or using the generator. I really would like it on the side of the table? Can this be done?

Buy an Adapter.

Easier and cheaper to just buy an AC to 12 Volt adapter.
I've seen them for about $20.00 for a good 5 Amp one.

Depends what you want to use it for....Those cheapos are usually low amperage, make sure it will put out enough amps for what you want

Agreed. I edited my reply. I meant to put $20.00, not $2.00.

I have all the different adapters but I need the 12 volt outlet when our only power is from the battery not generator or site power. We have replaced the battery with a large one but the only 12 volt outlet in bedroom.

Yes, it can be done. If you can tap into a nearby, existing 12v circuit that should work or run a line right off the battery underneath the RV. Is the table part of the slide out?

K'sKamper, Howdy;

You can get the type outlet from any RV supply place (online even),
and you can tap into the electric box that is generally somewhere
near where you want to install it. Run a pair of the right size wires an
presto you have what you are looking for.
I'd recommend buying the outlet at a RV place that has a repair facility
so you can talk with one of the tech's about what gauge wire to use
and how to hook into the fuse block the correct way.

No, table under rear window, has one drawer and under that is where electric power comes in.
