Winterizing- is there actually P traps

Hey, just got done winterizing my rig, no not moving it south. Is there actually P traps under there holding water or have they been replaced with a flapper valves and am I just pouring antifreeze down the drain ( love a good pun). Not that I care about that little bit of antifreeze, just curious.

You will have to check, but it’s easy enough. My kitchen sink, bathroom sink and tub/shower all have standard p-traps.

My galley sink and bathroom sink have common P traps and air admittance valves. The shower is a HEPVO valve. I saw a 2013 XLite 27RKS (one year older than mine) and it had a P trap on the shower. I haven't seen one built since mine, so no idea if Keystone changed back or what ???

What difference does it make? If you winterized the water lines with antifreeze then you've already filled the drains and traps with antifreeze. If the antifreeze is storng enough to protect the faucet then it's strong enough to protect the trap. Why pour more in?

When I winterize I let the antifreeze run long enough to cover the tank valve then put the remaing jug in the bathroom. That way, when I check on the camper during off season if the toilet valve isn't covered or looks low then I'll pour a little in the toilet.

Agree that the traps get a slurp from the taps, but I was sitting in my chair after supper and it struck me that the drain at the wash machine connection sounded wet when I poured some antifreeze in.
Was just curious if anyone knew, doesn't matter ether way.

I would think they all have p traps or you would get odours from the grey tanks. I always pour a little extra full strength antifreeze down each drain. I’m not sure if the toilet valve should stay wet with anti freeze all winter? Mine has usually gone dry by spring.
