We have done this a lot on trips. You should try to park somewhere level and avoid using the leveling system. The issue is, if auto level tries to raise the front it would also lift your truck. If the rear is raised maybe less issue, but you won't know until the deed is done.


I would manually just deploy enough of the leveler/jacks to touch the ground & stop trailer shaking if that bothers you. Otherwise just put out the slide and enjoy the break leaving all jacks up. Good luck on your adventure!

Does your 5er tow level? Just leave it connected and put out the slides, might be a bit bouncy when people walking around, but if just to rest it works. I did this once when high waves threatened our host site, moved to a higher level spot for the night.
This is one reason to tow level!
