2015 Xlite RLI Fan Installation

Since I will be installing two fans, both the bath and living area, once our trailer gets here, I was wondering if I should be expecting not to find 12v wiring available in the existing living area vent opening? I would think Keystone would pre-wire this area but I'm not sure. How about the bedroom vent as I might be doing that one also if the DW wants one.

Your bath vent should have a lousy 12V fan in the vent...That problem solved.
Your bedroom vent IF it has any wiring AT the vent it will be 120VAC for an optional A/C unit. When I added my Max air to my bedroom, I just fished 12VDC to the nearest light. On my model the center ceiling light is NOT switched, so I have constant 12V for the vent. If yours is switched, you can always just turn the light off at the light.....problem solved again

As for the living area, I would do the same as the solution for the bedroom for the quickest and easiest install.

GmaPaTime, Howdy;

What I have found, based upon my own experience is that,
there will be a 12vdc light near your vent. Remove the bottom
trim piece from the vent, look towards the 12vdc the light you
may find a roof truss in the way but that can be overcome by
the judicious use of a drill with at least a 3/8" bit. Use two wires
of the same colors and gauge as the ones bringing power to the
light. Route them to where your fan will be ...
