Water pump location

Good afternoon folks! My wife and I recently took the plunge and bought a 2013 Springdale 311. Still learning the ropes after only two weeks of ownership.
I actually have 2 questions at the moment.

First, where is the water pump located in this unit, and how visually will I know the inlet side so I can attach the hose to winterize the water system?

I called Keystone but the young lady only had a vague idea that it is located somewhere around the pantry area near the fridge. Can anyone please nail this down for me?

Next, I assume that the battery is just removed for winter in the same way as removing a car battery, but I don’t want to cause any issues due to being irresponsible
