King One Pro & Bell Satellite TV Service

This one is for Canadian RVers since it relates to Bell's Satellite service north of the border.

Does anyone have any experience with Bell and the King One Pro; good or bad?

If using the Bell Satellite TV service, how do you manage the subscription over the winter when the RV is in storage? Do you cancel it and then reactivate in the spring?

We used Bell satellite service with a Winegard Carryout dish. We found that you could get Bell service if you were within about 200 miles south of the US border. Any further south you had no service. As for winter storage we called Bell and suspended the service for 6 months. At the end of 6 months Bell would re-activate your service. One problem at re-activation time was that their service had sent out updates etc to the receiver which it did not receive as if was off. Always had to call Bell to get system to work. Usually an hour on the phone with them with me in front of the TV, satellite dish pointed at the satellite and working the receiver to get it updated and working. Hope that helps.
