Titan Flame Model EF-30B 2020 Cougar 29BHS

We just brought home our brand new Cougar 2020 29BHS. It was not ordered with the fireplace but the cabinet and the outlet are present. It looks like they just put cabinet doors over the opening. See picture

Here is the rub. My research shows that the Titan Flame Model EF-30B(f) is what ships if you order the fireplace. The unit is advertised to fit in a 26x21x6 inch opening. My opening is 25 1/2 inch by 20 1/2 inch by 7 inch. In hard to read pictures of the unit online there are guys holding up tape measures and it looks like the tape is reporting the 25 1/2 inch by 20 1/2 inch dimensions, not the advertised 26x21 demensions the manufacture documentation shows.

1. Is it possible this isn't the fireplace cabinet, but a different cabinet just a 1/2 inch off from the Fireplace cabinet? (that would be really weird)

2. Have I identified the wrong fireplace unit? Is it not the Titan Flame Model EF-30B(f)? I'd prefer the curved glass, are the dimensions the same?

3. Could this all have been avoided had Jimmy Carter successfully transitioned the US to the metric system?

BTW this thread was helpful and I did search before posting. https://www.keystoneforums.com/forum...ad.php?t=35380

Thanks all in advance for any help.

Update:

I went ahead an took a chance and ordered the Titan Flame Model EF-30B 26" Curved Insert Electric Fireplace . Even thought the advertized dimensions would be too large for my cabinet/cutout. Well it arrived today and the dimesiones are 25"width (plus clearance for some pan head screws maybe 3/8 inch) by 20 1/2" by 6". Not the advertised 26x21x6 the manufacture advertises. It looks like it will fit. Installing this weekend.

FYI the dealer quoted me 500 - 600 depending on model. I purchased the nicer curved glass on amazon for 230 here.
