Replacement propane hose needed,...

Hi,

I recently installed 6vot golf cart batteries and being that the battery box is larger than the original,.... I need to re-route the propane line that currently goes between the regulator and a bulk head connector behind the batteries.

I am needing a new hose about 1ft longer than original.

Can anyone please provide a source for this hose and also provide the thread pitch. Hose needs to be male on one end female on the other.

Thanks,
Lee

You don't say how long your current hose is, so I can't tell how long you need.

I just did a web search on "RV Propane hose." There were plenty of hits. This hit offers both a 3' and 4' hose, so if you have a 3' and need a 4', Bob's your uncle.

Hi,

Current hose is about 4 feet long.... needing about 5 ft.

I too did a google search for hoses but,.... there are to many different size fittings.... I need to first identify what size the existing hose connections are.

I think they are 3/8 MPT male on 1 end and 1/2 inch female flair on the other..... but not sure.

This is a SWAG, but I think this hose is the one you need. I'm going here strictly by application -- the description for this product specifically says, "Hose lets you run propane from your propane tank to your RV's gas piping system." I'm banking on the fittings for this particular connection being standard by code.

Hi,

Stopped by the Camping World yesterday..... they had many kinds of hoses....... Just not the one I needed. Talked to the Man behind the parts counter and he told me of a place in Tacoma that would help me out.

Off I went and in 10 minutes flat the Man behind the counter custom made me a hose!!!!!! All for $22.00!!!!!!
