Handrail

Looking for your thoughts on the best handrail to mount on the RV next to the door. My steps move when we stand on them and my wife has an unsteady knee and ankle, so she could use a better handrail. I see three different brands on Amazon.

When installing these is there a secret to finding a solid surface underneath for screws to hit?

I read the thread that said not to flip it over the slideout when travelling. Not an issue with my Sprinter.

Picture an example of what I am thinking.

Thanks

The picture looks like what came on our trailer. We like it and it works. It is mounted on the left side of the door and folds over it when in transit. I've never attached anything like that to the exterior of a trailer so will let someone else speak to that.
