Talking Changed the Dinette Light Fixture

I got tired of banging my head on the dinette light fixture, so I changed it.

It was super easy to do, 10 minutes tops and the new fixture was $31, with free 1 day shipping from Amazon.

We keep saying that is one of the mods we need to make, too. Would you mind sharing the product number?

Howdy Murphsmom,

Not at all Light Fixture

It came with 3 of the standard 921 style incandescent bulbs and I had already replaced the bulbs in the existing fixture with LEDs plus I had a spare.

Re: Changed the Dinette Light Fixture

Nice job. This is something I plan on doing this spring as a replacement to the stock LED plastic light fixture.

Etrailer has a similar LED fixture that is around the same price point: RV Ceiling light.

Re: Changed the Dinette Light Fixture

My husband changed ours out the first month that we had the fifthwheel. We bought ours at CW and it matches the other fixtures.

I hate that light over the dinette. I was repairing the dinette bench beside the love seat. The table would not lay flat and was out quite a bit. As I was trying to attach it to the metal insert on the wall, I leaned back, hit my head on the lamp and overcompensated moving my head forward to ultimately hit the table nose first. Holding a paper towel to my nose to stop the blood I dismantled the light one handed, it won't be going back up. No laughing ......
