Cougar 331

How do you get to the furnace on a cougar 331

I am not sure about your model, but generally look for the furnace exhaust and intake on the exterior. It is a metal plate with two vent holes. Turn the furnace on and you will hear and feel air. The furnace is is placed directly on opposite side of exterior wall. On the inside there will be the air intake grate. Sometimes under the fridge. If here there should be a wooden air intake grate that is held in place by two screws. On my unit the furnace is behind the partition wall in the belly storage compartment which is accessible by removing the partition wall panel.
I hope this helps.

I have a 331MKS and your furnace is located under the fridge. remove the wooden louver cover which is attached with 4 squared wood screws.
