Camco Strikes Again
I thought every one would get a chuckle out of this one. I was going to replace the 30A plug on my shore power cord and Camco was my only choice on a short notice.
Anyone see a problem here? I think the plug was actually OK except for a little oxidation that polished off and the problem was in the contacts of the dog bone. Manufacturer? You guessed it.. Camco..

Bob, You forgot to order the special assembly tool #999 needed to tighten the screws for small additional fee plus shipping and handling.
Here is a silly question .... Can the blades be pulled out and then reinstalled????

That's a good question. I'll look at it again. I didn't think about that because I'm so used to working with Marinco products, you stick the wire in and tighten and it's done.

They can, and that is precisely why you command the big bucks..

I seem to remember having the same problem once but could not remember where. So much for the "Golden Years".

There's a reason they're called Senior Moments. I once walked all over the house looking for something I was carrying around in my hand. DW still doesn't know about that one, but I'm betting she has done the same thing.
As long as I can find my way home for dinner, it's all good.

I used to tell my patients that as a general rule, if being forgetful makes them angry or frustrated, it's usually nothing to worry about. I coined a phrase, "Old-Timer's disease" for that condition.
In Alzheimer's, patients forget and don't realize they forget, it's an "unconscious thing"
In "Old-Timer's, patients forget, get frustrated, realize the "ineptness" of what they just did and take actions like writing "self-notes" to help remember things....
It's OK to have "Old-Timer's disease" It happens to almost all of us. It's when you don't realize that you're forgetting things that those around you need to be concerned.....
Now, where the heck did I put that sticky note with my list of things to do? Hmmmm Maybe I finished them all ???? NOT !!!!!

I replaced with this same plug once and I scratched my head for a full 5 minutes before I figured it out. Otherwise it works great.
