Water Pump location for 2012 Cougar 31rks

I am hoping someone can help me. I am trying to winterize my moms trailer. I think I have located the water pump, but can't seem to figure out how to get to it. I think it is behind a carpeted box but can't figure out how to get in there. Please help if you can!!!!

I wish it was as easy as my 2012 passport!!! lol

Thanks,

Someone with that model may chime in, and but if not tryooking for screw heads with your fingers buried in the carpet on the sides of the box. One side of the box may be a false removable panel. Sometimes removing a drawer or mamel near it may provide access as well.
Good luck.

Thanks.. I find it amazing that I can't find anything out on the internet about this. Very frustrating to say the least.

YEAH all done. There were no screws..

1. The top part of the step should pull open. In our case it did not so we had to loosen the bed frame screws to give us a little play. What happened is when Keystone was putting the bed frame together some of the carpet got caught up in the nails. Once we had a little play we were able to lift the lid off and there was the water pump.
2. The unit come equipped with a small hose to drop into the anti-freeze. Since the nearest store was 25 minutes away we had to improvise. There is not a lot of room to work with. We filled up a small pan with anti-freeze and ran the pump that way. Took a little longer than it should have but the unit is now winterized.
3. Next year I will get tubing, which will give me more room to work with, that will connect to the hose.

Sorry I don't have pictures and hope I explained it good enough!!!
