Hi Forum,

This is my second travel trailer, We've stuck with bumper-hitch units as we have several dogs and the back of the Excursion belongs to them.

Our current trailer is a 2019 Keystone Bullet Premier 30RIPR and we love it but I'll outline some dissatisfaction in another post.

When in service it's pretty light use with 5-8 weekend trips a year.

Since it can approach 8500 lbs all loaded up we had to upgrade our old 2500 Suburban for a 2005 Ford Excursion Diesel (partially bulletproofed for towing) which dos a much better job pulling.

It a true shame ford quit making the Excursion and that Chevy makes it so hard to find a 2500 Suburban, and definitely not in diesel.

For the dogs is why my DW and I use a Suburban.
