Problems with slide out

I'm having a problem with the Dinning room slide out on a 2017 cougar x-lite 28rks. Slide out goes out without a problem sliding it back in it slows way down and sounds real bad like something is wrong with the gear box or the motor. this just started on Memorial Day after we got back from camping for the weekend went slow when we were packing up to come home. Thanks for any help.

2 things that ones have clued me in on.

1) make sure you have enough voltage to disengage the keepers (actuators) so the slide can go in

2) there maybe misalignment with the actuators, which I think is my issue that I have not had time to resolve. I put new batteries in, but the 5ver was recently worked on and I don’t think they set I back right

I had the battery check today and it tested good and the other 2 slides work find. One is across for the slide I'm having the problem with and it has the tv and outside kitchen. Thanks for Reply

With a shot, look to make sure something isn't jammed around it. Stranger things have happened.

Don’t thank me, thank the forum. It is where I have learned a lot about, well a lot.

Just passing it on. Pay it forward. However you want to say it. Glad it’s all good! Now I need to look at mine!
