water damage

I purchased a 303bhs keystone sprinter 2004 knowing it had water damage but
the visible signs were the 2 slide ends next to the carpet (small soft spots at both ends) the owner paid $400 to place a water diversion strip above the slide out to take care of leakage before we agreed to buy it.
I was advised to take a hose and run it around the entire slide when closed and open and on roof as well. There was no water that came inside.
Today I picked up linoleum and carpet. The slide out floor is perfect. From front of slide out floor until approx 1/2 ' from the kitchen/opposite side, I removed all ply wood and insulation as it was water damaged, the 2 ends of slide out were the worst!!
It looks like a relatively simple fix (replacing floor) but how else do I check if there is any other spot the water coming from?Should I open walls even if it feels hard?
