Grey Water Set-Up in 33RES

Just bought this camper and hope I don't have to take it back. I have the grey water valve open. The sink/galley tank is full with water now in the bottom of the kitchen sink. The shower/bathroom is fine. I can't find a second valve that would open the galley tank. I see it on the control panel and it shows it as full. I hope it's just a valve I wasn't told about at orientation. Keystone manual was useless. Anyone with this model, please help! Will be contacting the dealer asap today. Thanks.

They try to hide them and do a pretty good job... I'd look either in front of or behind the wheels along a line running with the 3" pipe that you connect to dump.. most likely it will be an 1-1/2" line.. On my 333MKS it is located about 16" back from the side of the trailer and is tee'd in to the 3" at a 90` elbow.

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately, the underside of this camper is sealed up and I can't see a thing. I'm betting there is a blockage created during construction, between the second tank and the grey outlet. The bathroom shower and sink empty without and problem.

Check along the frame rail
for a second valve handle.

The galley tank should be located somewhere under the kitchen area. You may have to visually follow the sink drain (may have to remove drawers/panels to do so) in order to locate the tank. Once you have determined where the tank is located, you can then check along the frame or the under-belly looking for the dump valve. If you have two gray tanks you WILL have two dump handles. The handle is probably black and hard to see along the frame rail. On our Cougar, the galley dump handle passes through the coro-plast. If the handle/rod has fallen off the hole might be hard to find. Good luck & happy hunting

Go outside and lay down on the ground beside the pipe that comes out from the trailer for you to hook the sewer hose onto... Now look up at the pipe, the whole length of the pipe that is not under the coroplast .. and see if you see another T-handle.. If not look towards the rear of the trailer... no... crawl over behind the rear tire and look up at the bottom of the trailer... look right behind the rear tire.. No....

Okay do you see a hole in the coroplast that has a 1/4" rod sticking out or could have had a 1/4" rod sticking out of it.. If so that's where the valve is and you've lost the pull handle..

On our Raptor the second grey water valve is located directly behind the tire (rear-most) on the driver's side, at the very back of the slideout. Look up in the wheel well area. That might be another area.

Thank you, Thank you Thank you! The valve is quite close to the left rear suspension, well hidden and I had to crawl under the rig. Not a great spot for handle I must say. We just got the camper set up on our Punta Gorda site and we were dreading the return to the dealer. The orientation guy was clueless. Glad I'm a member of this forum!

The tank valve is "there somewhere". Usually it's located either in a hole cut through the coroplast or in a hole cut through the frame rail. Here are a couple of pictures of some valve locations. You "may" get lucky and find a small white decal on the side wall of your trailer. It will read "Valve Handle" and will have black letters about 1/2" tall. Often located along the trim molding that covers the bottom aluminum/fiberglass sidewall joint.

You'll need to get down on all 4's or better, lay on your back under the RV and search for the valve. Occasionally, the valve handle will unscrew and fall off, but I'd bet that it's there and you just haven't found it yet.

Good Luck

ADDED: It looks like you found the valve while I was typing this. I'm glad you found it, and wish more techs who give the orientation would focus on the important things like how to dump the tanks, light the HWH and where the water pump is located.

Glad you found the valve and the forum as well. We were told our 319rls had one gray tank but I had monitors for 1 & 2. 2 showed full but I couldn't find a handle or a label for it. I contacted Keystone 3 times about how many gray tanks it had and where they were. The final time they did say it had 2 gray tanks but didn't know where they were. I crawled around under the rv until I found a small silver handle (nothing like the other two) protruding out of the rail just in front of the tire. Pulled it and...whoosh.. number 2 drained. Dug around on the outside of the trailer and found the label under a vent cover... You've gotta give it to the manufacturers of these things...they do their best to make it "fun"
