Lightening Bolt Icon?

Just bought a 15' Springdale 282BH and I noticed the icon associated with a toggle switch on the main panel (the panel with the tank/batt levels etc...) one our last trip to death valley. I didn't have this switch on my 2012 179, so its new to me. My other keystone buddies don't have this switch, so i am at a loss. All i know is that when i flip it on, my generators rev higher. When the trailer is plugged in at the house, after i flip the switch, my forced air blower slows down a bit. What does this switch do? I want to know how to use it right...

Thanks! Oh, and i'm new here.

Used the search function and figured it out... Its the AC power switch for the water heater. Its been on for two days now with an empty (pretty sure it is anyway) water heater. Hopefully i didn't kill it. Anyone with experience, please chime in and make me feel better...

If you drained all the water out of your lines using the low point drains and opening the hot water tank safety valve at the top, you may have burnt out the element.

We had a new trailer in the shop a few months ago, customer complained of no hot water. First thing I did was check and found the anode rod not installed and bypass turned to "bypass", They used the electric and propane for a weekend. When I filled the tank it heated up on electric.

So...maybe you got lucky. If your fresh water system was full of water, including the HWH, no harm no foul.

BTW: welcome to the forum.
