My truck for towing my Bullet Premier 19FBR

FYI...
I have a 2010 GMC Sierra Crew Cab; 5.3 8cyl; 6 speed; 3.08 rear end.

Please note, that due to the low rear end of 3.08(to increase gas mileage),
the actual towing capacity of my truck with weight distribution hitch is 6700lbs.

This is according to GM's own specifications.

Since the trailer has a GVWR of 5880lbs, I have no concerns.

If any one has any comments, please let me know....thx

I'm certain that you'll find the 3.08's to be less than satisfactory. Oh, the truck will pull the trailer fairly well on flat roads. But you won't have much power to get off the line at stop lights, and you won't like how it bogs down on up hill grades.

Real life experience: We had a '98 Dodge Ram 1500 with the 318 ci engine and 3.53 gears pulling a trailer of a bit less GVWR than what you are looking at. We loaded the truck pretty well with camping gear and a fiberglass canoe. Lousy acceleration and very poor performance on up hills was the consistant result. Folks with the same truck except for 3.78 or higher gearing all performed much better.
