Water drains on Alpine 3700FL

Besides the hot and cold low point drains there are two drains coming through the underbelly. I know one is to drain the fresh water tank, but can't figure out what the other is for. Does anyone know?

Thanks!

Just guessing, but if you have a residential fridge, it might be the ice maker water line drain.

I had thought of that because I do have a residential, but don't understand why the lowpoint drain wouldn't take care of it.

I'm guessing that drain is "T" d off between the icemaker and the solenoid in the water line. Otherwise it won't drain unless the solenoid is energized long enough for the water to drain off. But that's just a guess, perhaps someone else could confirm or cc correct.

There is a cut off under the island for the water line to the icemaker in the fridge.. you need to shut it off and the drain that is off by itself (mine's in the middle of the entry door) will then drain that line..

Also, look at the water line in the slide that goes up to the fridge.. some have a petcock to drain the line and some don't.. mine doesn't but I unscrew the line at the 90` fitting to help the low point drain..

My last 5th wheel it was the vent line from the fresh water tank.
For some reason on that brand they chose to vent it under the rv rather through the screened vent next to the fill port which when the tank was full would create a siphon & drain about 2/3 of the fresh water.

If you have a dishwasher it might be the drain for the water line to it.

It is the FW vent/overflow drain. Kinda hard to drain a tank if air can't get inside. It doubles as a tank overflow. When water runs out stop filling. The tank is full.
