Tire temperatures

I’m installing a new TPMS on my 22’ TT. Any idea what a normal tire temperature would be while traveling in the summer? And what is dangerous and I should set an alarm for. Thanks as always,

We travel a lot in desert climate areas during the summer and often see tire temps 90 degrees to 100. Check with the TPMS manufacturer but I'd suggest 150. Funny thing, you'll notice 10+ degrees higher on the sunny side of the trailer.
I understand temps over 170 can cause blowouts.

I'll be interested in following this thread, because all that I have to go by is what's printed in my owner's manual.

I have the EezTire T515 tire monitoring system. According to the manual, the factory default is 158 degrees F and there is a fixed alert for high temperature at 194 degrees F. The owner’s manual then says “… we recommend leaving it at the default setting of 158 degrees.”
