I have one, bought it a few months ago. So far it is great, but I have only had it out once.

Re: Keystone Hideout 177LHS

I have the 1750rd slightly different layout same base ,I have 1 dump valve looks like you got 2 ? don't know why they did that.

You have more room near bed I have more room in the back.
My dinette and rear window is larger but you have more storage.
My a/c is in back yours in front, wont hear it as much on hot summer nights

Only thing was sheet metal screws that hold heater grill on loosened up a couple of times and scuffed wood.
I changed it to machine screws with fiber locking nuts and a small 1/4 sleeve between grill and heater.wood marker fixed the scuffs.
I did notice with grill removed there was flex in heating unit .I used 2 long screws to secure top of unit to counter, nice and tight now.

Im in Fort Salonga Ny north shore Long Island
I got it in may took 5 trips this summer 2000+ miles rolls good.

Re: Keystone Hideout 177LHS

I have a 21FQ, which is a similar layout but dual axle with a walk-around bed and a lot more storage.

One of the first things I did is take the dinette seat cushions to an auto upholstery shop and get MUCH firmer foam.

We also have a 5 shelf pantry by the side of the stove (about 11" wide) and we are putting slide out drawers in 3 of the shelves

It is because the black and grey tanks are on either side of the axle. The 1750rd appears to have both tanks rear of the axle.

Re: Keystone Hideout 177LHS

We are new owners of a 177LHS and have only had it out once. For the winter it is in our pole barn and has been winterized. We enjoyed our one trip and hope to do a lot more next year.

Re: Keystone Hideout 177LHS

We are winter camping with it this year, we store it at a RV park in northern mich. All winterized, but have shore power so we have lights and use an electric heater to lessen the use of propane.

Re: Keystone Hideout 177LHS

One of the nice things about living in Las Vegas, is that we don't have to winterize our camper so if we decided on a whim to take off for a weekend, we can. This winter, since we now have the 177 with a dry bathroom instead of our a-frame, momma is much happier and we hope to take it out at least a couple of times.
