Trip #2 complete, some good some bad

Arrived home today from our second trip in our new bullet. Really loved the roomier RLS we purchased. But by the time we left the campground though I discovered we will need to use our warranty. Got on my ladder to sweep the slide off and discovered the sealant was separated on the top piece of weatherstripping on the slide. Once I got home I got a closer look and the strip had come off the track in about a foot and a half piece. In my mind they will have to remove all the sealant and fix the weatherstrip and reseal. Other things to have them look at is the main entry door is binding when you try and close it and it is showing wear. A piece of trim under the door has worked its way loose. I need to purchase door latches because I hate the hydraulic door. Need to purchase cabinet latches so they stay open when you get stuff out. also noticed some eraser size bubbles in the sealant where the roof meets the side of the trailer and it seems really thin there. All said and done a little disappointed of the things I need to fix already but still love my Bullet.

There are always a few things you need to add or change when you get a new trailer. Also, unfortunately, many times there are a few things that the dealer needs to deal with, good luck.

I'm tired of saying, "Well, its a trailer. Glitches are to be expected." If they made cars like this, they'd be out of business...or they'd have to call them Airstream. I guess for the money I can live with the minor stuff, but it still drives me into headshaking mode.

If you think about when you buy a new house you have to go through it to create a punch list for the builder to come back a fix. Most things can be fixed before you move in but some things don't happen until after you live there. I remember losing 9-10 roof shingles a month or two after moving in. Now tow it down the street and see what comes loose.
