Tow Guards

I just bought a new Lardeo LHT 28BH with the fiber glass front cap, we are looking at storing the TT at place outside the city for a lot less $$$, but the downside is, to get there we have to drive about 4km on gravel. I have mud flaps on my TV but I'm still considered that some rocks may come up and damage that new front cap. Anyone ever use some of the tow guards that I see around? I was looking at the rock solid tow guard from smart solutions. Pros \ Cons? Any other recommendations?

Thanks for your feed back

I live on a gravel road and have not had any nicks/dents, even after about 6,000 miles of towing, with the Towtector Brush system. Mud Flaps dot com are good folks to work with on this.
