Passport faucet

My 268bh faucet failed on first trip flooding trailer and cutting the weekend short after 4 hours.

I chose to install a home faucet and these are the adapters needed. Home Depot has them.

Yep, just did the same thing this weekend, used those same adapters. In hindsight I should have bought new brass fittings and crimped that to the PEX instead of leaving the cheap plastic ones there. Already had my PEX tools out for another job, takes 30 seconds to recrimp. BUt I got it in and no leaks for now.

Could have added shut off valves also.

I found the pictures confusing a bit. Red & Blue pex are Keystone and you adapt them to stainless supply lines that disappear into a plastic thing. What is the plastic thing and what are the black lines coming out of the plastic thing?

It is a pedestal kitchen faucet with an integrated sprayer head. The SS lines are the hot and cold supply lines going up into the pedestal to the valve. The black line is the hose from the valve coming down out of the pedestal in a loop with a weight on it and back up into the pedestal, past the valve and up through the neck. You pull the head out of faucet neck and that is your sprayer head. The weight pulls it back into place in the neck when done. All perfectly normal and everything makes sense.
