Reese & Equalizer4 Hitches

Looks Good I just cleaned mine yesterday also. How do you like your Reese hitch? I have heard that the dual cam is a great set-up. I am thinking about getting one also. I have checked on Anderson MFG., Blue Ox, ETC. But I have always been a believer in Reese.

I'm actually using the Equal-i-zer 4 point sway control. I have read good things about the Reese dual cam and honestly think
You can't go wrong with either..

Over 100,000 miles with Equalizer hitches with zero problems. I love them. Never tried a Reese so can't compare, sorry.

I have the Reese dual cam but cannot really comment on it as I do not feel mine is set up right and I do experiance it seems the same ride with or without it. When I read the directions some of the steps where not followed and I plan on doing it myself. When I got it I knew nothing about towing but had read that it was a great safety device and added it. I was there when it was installed on my original camper and although not there when it was installed on the second I know some things could not have been followed.

1) Test drive with S turns were not completed where I purchased or from the second dealer who set it up on my new rig.

2) Bracket pivot point is not 18" from ball centre.

3) The chains do not hand straight down

If anyone has experience with these I would really like to speak with you as I start to tinker with the set up.
