2012 Fuzion Toyhauler security driver side light

So we have our trailer for 5 years and have never been able to figure out how the exterior light in the driver side turns on. We have read that both switches on the entry panel have to be on. We have checked bulbs , power at both sources and there is power but still nothing. Any other suggestions?

I haven’t ever seen a remote with this trailer so I don’t believe so. There are two switches when you enter the trailer . One is for the entry door and the other we are assuming is maybe for the other side. But is doesn’t turn the light on but has power

Have you removed the light cover and checked for voltage at the socket? A picture of the light might help also.

Sounds like your missing the remote controller. That remote operates stuff that all have switches. When you use the remote, it takes over (for lack of better word) the device and the wall or panel switches will not work to turn on/off the device.

Do you know what it would like like or a make. I tried to see what it would look like. Or would you know how to by pass this connection?
