Dometic Refrigerator thermistor

Ok... went into the refrigerator for the first time and found this "cable" just hanging down inside... on the cooling coils I see a white plastic clip ... next to it it says warmer and colder....but nothing is on the clip... the cable, which i found on line was the thermistor (spelling) should be in that clip and when moved up or down raises or lowers the temp... I cannot find a photo of how that thermistor is in the clip itself..or where is the correct placement of the thermistor in that plastic clip... Anyone give me a hint as to how it is supposed to be?
Thanks in advance for your help
