Keystone cougar lite

Hey all, new owner/camper. My water pump seems to be losing pressure and turning on and off every few seconds. What can I do

Have you got a water leak? Partially open faucet? Outdoor shower?

How old is the trailer? Make sure the caps on the low point drains are secure.

Have not found any leaks. All faucets are closed secure. Pump is working just dont understand why it seems to be losing pressure

If you have a winterization valve on your pump, it might be open. Otherwise Sourdough's start is a good one.

If the pump loses pressure, it's a high probability that there is a leak some where that you have not found yet.

First place I'd look is the pressure relief valve on the hot water heater. The tiniest bit of grit will cause a slow drip.

There's a check valve on the city water inlet. Same logic.

There's a one-way valve on the input side of some pumps that prevents back pressure sending water back to the fresh water tank.

Keep looking, you may yet discover a leak.

Ok. So, new development. It has stopped turning off and on and is now holding pressure properly without turning off and on.

On your original post had you just set up and started the water pump? If so, many times it takes a while for the system to equalize. Would that have been the issue?
