5th Wheel Sliding Tray

I have a large basement that I would like to organize using pass-thru or sliding trays. There are many on the market but are heavy and expensive for what I would want. I am only looking for accessibility not to store for full timing.

Does anyone have any plans or inexpensive solution to share?

Thanks!

Saw this link to a DIY solution a few months ago. If my basement didn't "step up" meaning if it was lower than the hatch I would consider. They are nice idea, but you do lose space - height and width. Sure make it easy though.

Good luck if you take the project on, be sure to post some pictures of your work!

As mentioned above, you do loose height and width, that is also my concern. I have been considering it also but keep backing off.

wrighfr58,
Check out some Rv dealers for the coffin drawer that come with some travel trailers. People have it removed when they take delivery because they do use up a lot of space, dealer usually has then in stock room just laying around. Make them an offer.
