TV Lift

I remember some RV's in the past came with a TV that was hidden. Press a button and the TV raised up.

Are there any RV's that still use the TV Lift mechanism?

I am thinking that there might be some TT's that come with them. Are you wanting to add 1 to your TT? Look up televator on line. There are manual and motorized tv mounts that you can buy.

Yes they still make them with TVs that rise from a counter, table etc. You would need to make a decision on the type/size of trailer you wanted then do some research on what models had them but I've walked through several that had them in the last 2-3 years. I never wanted one because it is just one more mechanical function to fail at the wrong time....just something to think about.

If you travel with pets (cats) like we do, I had to make a board that fit under the tv and covered the space that the TV lowered into. That was AFTER my cat jumped down there and couldn’t get back out

On the RV shows on television they call them "televators" I think.

Sounds like a funny story, BUT I'll bet it wasn't at the time!

I laughed for a bit, then got irritated and made him wait until commercials. LOL

That could have been a long wait considering how many they run anymore... more commercials than programing...
