Mattress

Has anyone bought a mattress from camping world? If so which one did you get?
Do you like it?

A mattress is like a wife, choose wisely, you may not like your neighbors selection.

Think Goldilocks and the 3 bears beds. The one that's "just right" for you may not be the one Papa bear or Mamma bear likes.

Realize that whether one likes a mattress is a very subjective thing. As was pointed out what A loves B might hate. Same goes for foam mattresses, sleep number, tempur-pedic, coil spring etc.

Decide what kind of mattress YOU like, construction, firmness etc. then find the right one for you. As far as CW and mattress price, you will probably pay too much unless you are a good Sam member and it's on sale....or your mattress is a "special" size that only an RV place carries.

I bought a "Sleep Number" mattress from Camping World several years ago. It was on "sale" and I got a good deal. Since it was a known brand I knew exactly what I was getting. I still have it and I have been very happy with it.

I went to Billy Bob's Beds in San Antonio and bought a queen version of the king we sleep on in the house. No issues other than 6" longer than the trailer queen originally in our camper. Put a piece of plywood across the end of our bed platform to keep our mattress from sagging on the end.

I would get a sleep number. We had one in our first trailer. Lasted 15 years. And both sides can adjust to preferred soft/firm ness

We just ordered the same one we left in our trade. I didn't realize we had a short queen or I would have swapped: https://www.overstock.com/Home-Garde...O4&searchidx=1

We've had good luck with Overstock for mattresses. Read reviews and choose wisely. Also look for promo codes!
