2017 Premier floor bubbling up bad

First time post....
I'm a first time TT owner and want to thank you all for the help.
I just bought a 2018 Premier 30RIPR three weeks ago. During the joke of a Walk thru I noticed the vinyl floor was bubbling up pretty bad. Like 2" X 3' bubbles that feels like the glue was never there. The tech told me the floor will flatten out once the sun comes out. I should have not taken it home.
The dealership is still giving me attitude over it and I really don't want to take it to them. Even though I bought the 7 year warranty. I feel there a kids that work in the service department and I'll get it back with all kinds of other issues because the island needs to be removed and who knows what else. The bubbles are throughout the entire floor.
I saw someone using a needle suringe to inject glue into the vinyl. Then rolled out and a heavy object layed down for 24 hoursdid the trick.
I knew getting service on RV's and TT was the worst but planned on repairing all the minor issues myself anyway. Like I've already been doing since day one.

If I purchased a new RV and bought the warranty, I would take it back and insist they make it right. The minute you start shooting glue with a syringe, they will throw up their hands and claim you caused all the problem. Under my carpet, which I removed earlier this year and replaced with vinyl, I found there was no glue on the linoleum underneath; just staples so it is possible this stuff was never glued down in the first place. I am sure more knowledgeable folks will chime in on this point. If it bubbled, the most likely cause I can think of is that the vinyl wasn't cured at the factory and was forced right up to the edges and when there were temp changes, it just came up? If it was supposed to be glued, they will have to remove it to reglue and I am not sure how well it would come up as it will likely stick in places where it hasn't popped. I would make them do it right this time since the factory didn't in the first place.

You are 100% right on me taking it back. I'm hoping Keystone will let me take it to a different authorized service center of my choosing. Not sure how to go about it yet.

The vinyl flooring in most travel trailers is not glued to the subfloor, it is free-floating and secured only at the sides and at any penetrations (ducting, islands, etc).

Injecting glue under the floor is not a good idea, there's no guarantee that the glue won't seep upward, into the color layer and stain the vinyl flooring where the glue is injected. Then, even if it doesn't show through, it will secure the flooring in that area. As the RV shifts and twists, the flooring will pull and may rip in the area where you inject the glue. Also, during the winter, while the trailer is in storage, as the temperature drops, the flooring will contract. Any part of the floor that is adhered "could or could not" cause a problem.

In the recent past 3 to 8 years ago, there was significant problems with vinyl flooring cracking from the cold. While that problem "seems to have gone away" there's no guarantee that similar problems won't surface with the flooring type being installed in current trailers.

ANYTHING that you do to change or modify the floor can (and probably will) be used as a reason for the problem. I'd urge you not to start experimenting with the vinyl floor, but let the dealership handle the repair.

Usually, if there's a problem with the flooring, most dealerships have a contract with a flooring specialist in the local area and call on them to repair any splits, cuts, tears or other problems with the flooring. Typically, they are experts and can do the repairs professionally and the first time.

That's refreshing to hear. I hope they have a flooring specialist do the work. I am a diesel mechanic by trade and have to deal with the same issues I'm worried about ever week. Bring it in for something and everything they touched/removed to access the problem is either loose, missing or leaking. Hurry Hurry Hurry! Drives me nuts.
I did talk to someone at Keystone and they confirmed it isn't a free-floating vinyl flooring. It was to be glued from the factory. My issue is with the dealership that sold me the trailer. Not Keystone. A few other things that surprised me at the time of pickup that I brought to their attention three employees I talked to all just shrugged their shoulders and walked off.

Unless flooring in a RV has changed in the last year or 2. There is no glue holding it down. If it were me, I would have the dealer fix it. It may just need to be trimmed and flatten out again.
