Yup+1! Use it to drain your fresh water tank.

Also, open all faucets to gravity drain your fresh water system when ready to winterize . You will still need to, when it's time., open the valve. Don't forget your shower head, washer hook-up, outside spigot (shower or kitchen). Depending on your local winter temps, either an air blast purge ,and/or "pink lemonade" are a must.

Good Luck,

I believe those are the low point drains (2), side by side for your hot and cold lines. You fresh water tank should have another line somewhere in the vicinity of the fresh water tank that drains it and looks similar to these; it may have a different type of end.

Only someone from San Antonio would ask that Kidding

Up here in the north we need to drain our water lines for the winter. I guess down there you need to drain them pretty often as well to keep the water from growing bacteria and getting punky in that heat.
