Alpine has been ordered

Hello everyone! After months of shopping we finally pulled the trigger a couple of weeks ago and ordered an Alpine 3700fl. The DW and I are very excited.
We are trading in our Forest River Wildcat 313re that we have had for 7 years. The Wildcat was our first camper and we having been enjoying it so much we decided to upgrade. We typically camp around 50 to 60 nights a year. Would do more but we are both still part of the working class.
In the past I have participated in the rvnet forum and Forest River forum. Thought I'd sign up now and try to learn for everyone else's experiences and not be a stranger when I start to ask for help. Thanks in advance.

Dennis

Congrats on a soon to be new Alpine. I like the line very much. Own a 2014.. it’s been a very good unit with very minimal problems.

Some suggestions on delivery PDI ....
... insist on going up on roof and inspect. Pay close attention to front edge of roof membrane where it is secured under front cap strap. If you see ANY voids in the self leveling sealant insist on it being fixed right then and there.

.. look at suspension and make sure you see evidence of fresh grease at all zerk fittings front and rear and in middle at load equalizers. Make them grease if any questions.

We’ve found the hydraulic six point LG and slides to be great.

Oh... also look in battery compartment and if you don’t have two batteries tell them you want two... no if’s

Enjoy.

Hey hey hey....another Alpine to the mix! We are still loving our 2012. We have been dragging it around the United States to the tune of around 80,000 miles. Welcome aboard!

This time we didn’t. We went with General RV in Ashland VA. I did buy my current TT from Leo’s.

They are dealer installed. Don't just take their word for 2 good quality batteries being in the boxes, look for yourself, some dealers were adamant that they put them in when in fact all that was there was the cheapo delivery battery.
