Barbecue Storage

My Passport 23RB came with the barbecue that attaches to the rear of the trailer. It was in the under bed storage area. I would not want to put it back there after using it and smelling like grease. I am not sure I would even want to put it in the front storage area unless it was in some kind of sealed bag. Probably could just seal it in a large garbage bag. Just wondering what everyone else does without a truck bed.

Thanks.

I put mine just inside the front door. Last in first out.

I bag mine in a heavy duty trash bag and put it in the front storage compartment (5th wheel).

I put mine in the rear storage area by the water heater. I clean it when I'm done, including rinsing out the disposable aluminum tray, and have never had any smells from it.

I bought a plastic bin and put it in that. No grease or smell in the trailer

Ours came with a storage bag. After using it, we clean it, put it back in the bag and store in the storage area outside in the back of our Passport.

Ours came with it's own zippered bag also. We keep it reasonably clean by burning it off and wiping it down before putting it away. In the old trailer it lived in the forward storage compartment, now it lives under the bed, and we haven't noticed any odors with either storage location.

The Weber Q (with Weber cover) goes in the basement compartment. No smells.

I clean ours up and place in the front storage compartment of our 23RB. I do not place it in the bag it came with anymore, since the bag ripped.

This is what we do as well, though I keep ours in the front storage area. The key is constant cleaning. We give it a good once over before we leave and get as much out as we can. Then when we get home it gets a more thorough cleaning before it goes back into the trailer.

We are grillers but we don't exclusively use this grill. I have one that you can put over the fire, so we use that one as well. Same deal though, cleaned before we leave, more if needed when we get home.

Edit: I just realized in my sig pic you can almost see the grill that goes over the fire lol. Its in the forefront and it attaches to the thing with the handle thats staked into the ground. You can raise or lower it and swing it over the fire or away from it.

Our Weber goes into a huge plastic bin with other stuff and goes in the back of the truck.

Going to get a bin to fit mine and leave it in the truck. I've got a weight limit issue on the trailer so am planning on storing more in the truck then I have in the past.

Thanks for all the advice. I think I'll clean it good and put it in a plastic container near the door.

I put mine right back under the bed. Just normal cleaning first, and no smells.

Place ours in a large garbage bag and place it under the bed storage. We only use ours if the weather is bad and I can't cook over the fire
