TV cable/antenna question.

I have a 2007 Springdale. I had to make a through the wall connection with G8 cable for my Tailgater to work. Now I want to put a little TV in the bedroom. The cable connection is there. I would like to use just the antenna there so the question is do I turn the switch on in the living room or does it automatically determine the signal weather I run the antenna up or hook to available cable? Is the switch and light just a 12v hook up? I have no manual to go by. Just need an explanation.

The switch in the TV amplifier turns on the amplifier circuit in the antenna head (on the roof). If you are using cable, you need to turn the switch off, if you are using the antenna, turn the switch on.

A new TV? Hmmmm with all the "extended Black Friday" sales events, finding a new TV shouldn't be any more difficult than walking into the nearest big box store and saying, "Hello" LOL
